Dr. Harestad has been practicing Chiropractic at Hoffman Chiropractic and Wellness for 8 years. He endeavors to optimize the health of his patients through a combination of chiropractic care, exercise and nutrition to provide patients with a balanced approach at maintaining their health and wellness.

I am the first of many smiling faces you’ll see when you walk through the door. Primarily, I manage the front desk ensuring your appointments are being scheduled and your needs are being taken care of.

The best part of my job is the patients! Getting to know why they’re here, watching the positive outcomes they experience and being a part of their health care journey is simply rewarding.

In conjunction with my Hospitality and Tourism Management Diploma, I’ve worked in the customer service industry for over 6 years. The mixture of the two has allowed me to build a variety of skill sets to address
patient needs.

For myself personally, chiropractic care has changed my life! The care provided at this clinic goes beyond pain relief. I am able to live a life free of anxiety, which after so long seemed impossible.

As a Chiropractic Technician, my primary responsibility is attending to new patients. I am the one who assists Dr. Hoffman with the extensive neurologic exams and performing the initial diagnostic testing.
I studied psychology and english at Dalhousie University and have a Diploma in Practical Nursing.

I like everything about my job! I enjoy working as part of a team, the brilliant doctors, and learning something new every day. I enjoy monitoring and tracking patients’ progress. Seeing them improve is amazing. I like getting to know patients and their stories; knowing everyone by their names and on a personal level is awesome. I love helping people.

Working here has made me want to be the best “me” I can be. I eat healthier and exercise more. I have less back and neck pain, less anxiety, less headaches, and more energy and focus!

With my job as a Chiropractic Technician I guide new patients through their first visit as well as help with therapies and treatments. I have my Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, my Nursing Diploma and I am an AFLCA Certified Group Fitness Instructor.

I love my job because I am constantly learning and helping patients through their health journey. Seeing how we can help patients and how they improve makes my day brighter.

Working here has helped me resolve my chronic back pain and my “Mommy Brain.”
